The quick and easy way to lose weight?

What's confusing about being healthy? Sometimes, even though you're not hungry, you'll reach for snacks to nibble on between meals.

You may also prefer very big servings and to eat more than you should.

All these little things - your habits can keep you away from your ideal weight.

One thing for certain is that the weight loss business is booming, fueled by the smoke and mirrors, fads, mysteries, and easy to swallow miracle drugs.

1 in 5 women have eating disorders...

There's a variety of minute-by-minute methods to suppress your appetite.

Then you move on to the day-by-day...

Then month-by-month effort to control cravings, hunger and over-eating..

There's only one truth that's constant, the need to change attitudes, habits and behavior in a conscious way...

You're going to change the way you think about dieting... because you're overweight for the most simple of reasons!

You're eating the wrong foods...

You're eating the wrong types of calories per meal...

You're eating meals in the wrong patterns each day!

OK. Let's look at food in a more dynamic and more powerful light because food is better than any prescription weight loss pills. Period!

The food you choice to eat can either make you thin or fat...

You don't get fat because of a lack of exercising, that's a myth. You get fat because you don't eat the right foods at the right intervals each day.

Just look at the science. These trendy "plans" usually end up making you fat. Why? They cause you to lose precious fat-burning lean muscle.

And that slows down your metabolism and speeds up your weight gain.

The key is to reset your metabolism and to also reduce the stress hormone Cortisol, which is responsible for stubborn fat.

Your body only needs certain foods at certain intervals each day, and if you don't eat the right foods at the right times then it won't burn those calorie.

So you'll end up storing those calories as fat, the result is you get overweight it's not really any more complicated than that, and the way to start losing weight has nothing to do with starving yourself or jogging.

In fact, ignoring your hunger pangs and cravings can be quite a challenge. Looking away from temptation can be very difficult and leaving food on your plate can be wasteful.

So, how can you stop yourself from messing up your diet?

Well, you can start by slowly decreasing the amount of food that you put on your plate. Know the difference between feeling satiated and feeling bloated!

Next, eat foods and drink liquids that can help you control your appetite.

Water doesn't have to be expensive, for starters it has no calories so you can drink it without feeling guilty as often as you want...

On the other hand, fizzy, sugary, softdrinks and coffee can increase the acidity in your stomach and stimulate your hunger pangs.

A glass of pure water has a neutral pH that can dillute the digestive juices in your stomach, giving you a feeling of fullness.

So, the next time you feel hungry and you know it's not yet time for your next meal, try getting a glass of water instead of a snack.

A glass of water before each meal can also help you control the portions that you eat...

Drinking soup before your meal can help control your appetite. It can also be a great snack because organic leek, pumpkin, squash or vegetable soup contains only 20 calories.

Filling your diet with a lot of green, leafy vegetables can actually help you lose weight. All in all, you're bound to take in only 100 calories which is very little as compared to the contribution of oily chips and burgers.

If you're craving sweets, you might as well eat fruits because they contain a lot of fiber. You can easily eat these low-calorie natural appetite suppressants.

You could actually lose weight just by eating an apple before every meal, because it makes you feel fuller, and stops you from overeating.

Bananas have a lot of starch and can give you the energy boost that you need. As an added benefit, water, fruits and veggies can also improve your complexion.

So, switch to a better habit by making sure that you are surrounded by these nutritious alternatives instead of your regular snacks...

It's time to lose weight and bring back the joy of eating...
